Well, I own exactly one black skirt, which gets me through funerals and job interviews, but I have come to realize that my wardrobe verges on minimalist by many people's standards. Parts of the perils of having a closet only 42 inches wide.
The thing about that skirt is it fits perfectly and it has pockets, so I may wear it until I'm dead. :-D But really, anything that is not flattering needs to go. You are a much easier size now and don't have to hang onto clothes just because they kinds fit. Keep only what looks great and turn the rest loose.
