Some good, some bad....

vanillafluffyMade some progress on the @#$% correspondence at work. On Monday, the Other Office is supposed to be back on line, so I'll only have to deal with *our* morons. Had idiot callers today, I swear to God--! (Strike them dyslexic so they keep dialing wrong numbers and I don't have to deal with them, please?) But hey, it's Friday, and this is a Good Thing. I have the bead and gem show to look forward to, and more progress on the house, I hope.
Finally got to see xXx: State of the Union. Good grief, if the reviewers thought the first one lacked plot, I hope they stayed away from the second one in droves. It was *that* bad. It was incoherent and contrived, and the only good thing I got from it was, there was a lot more of Gibbons and Toby in this one. (I'm discounting the part where they alledgedly killed Xander Cage in Bora Bora...I figure that was the producer's revenge on Vin for having enough sense to stay away from the dreadful script. I can resurrect him AND tie it into the crack-smoking crossover--piece of cake!)
I have lots of fresh movies to keep me busy on the couch after the bead and gem show. This evening, I assembled a necklace of copper lightning bolts punctuated with green glass rectangles the shade of old Coke bottles. (In keeping with my practice of titling them, this one is "Return from Bora Bora"....)
