Meanwhile, back at the cube farm....

Yesterday, I was told we'd be getting assigned work stations, instead of floating around every shift. That's just fine with me! That way I can set things up the way I want them, and leave them that way. I won't have to keep dragging a ton o' stuff with me every day, just my purse and my lunch.

I'm a creature of routine in many ways. (Okay, I'm a little OCD.) I'm also a bit territorial. So the thought of my own space, where I can put up a calendar and a picture or two, and keep a sweater over the chair back---that makes me happy.

Last night went pretty well---I was one sale short of a $1000 night. (Credit card wouldn't go though. Bugger!) Had a couple lovely chats: one with a gal from Staten Island, another with a woman who must be about my age, because we were reminiscing about having had crushes on Bobby Sherman.

Yes, I'm sure at least a few of you know *exactly* who I mean. David Cassidy didn't do it for me. Donny Osmond? Never-in-a-million-years, but Bobby's big blue eyes, OMG! Here Comes the Brides every Friday night after The Brady Bunch and The Partridge Family---David Soul BEFORE Starsky and Hutch---"The bluest skies you've ever seen, in Seattle---!" *heart flutters*
