Tomorrow calls for the food bank with Mb at oh-dark-thirty. Today has been...entertaining, at the very least.

I got up, flipped channels and ran across Crossfire Trail, a made for TV version of a Louis L'Amour westerm starring Tom Selleck. It was about five minutes in, long enough that I'd missed the credits, but could easily pick up the plot. I kept looking at his young sidekick, thinking "DAMN, he looks like Christian Kane!".

Checked IMDb during a commercial break, and lo and behold, it WAS CK. Nice twofer! The villain was Mark Harmon, while Virginia Madsen was the love interest. Rounding out the cast were assorted stalwarts, including Wilfred Brimley, Barry Corbin and Rex Linn.

I enjoyed it; as previously mentioned, I like a good Western.

Took a nap. Weird dreams I don't remember.

Got up, came downstairs, futzed around for a while. Found out Fast and Furious was coming on in five minutes---I'd seen the last few minutes of it, but I'm usually up for a Vin Diesel flick, so I settled in for that. Kept seeing Popeyes commercials, which have me craving their fried chicken. (Or chicken-fried-crack, as Mb and I call it.)

Holiday weekend, no Hoarders. No Leverage. Not sure what's on tomorrow---some holiday Mondays are loaded with great marathons, others are yawn-fests.

It drives me nuts when commercials come on for places WE don't have around us, Popeyes being one example. I'd also love to take my car to Pep-Boys.... ditto. None around here.

Frustrating!

I know, right? We don't have Red Robin around here (and I'm not about to drive to Orlando for a hamburger). I'm sure there are others, I just canot think if them on three hours sleep. (Napped yesterdauy amd was up early for the food bank, which was highly successful.
