Last night, J took me out for Chinese, and afterward we went back to her place and played a hand of canasta. She skunked me unmercifully. (I let her, by way of a belated birthday present.)

I also got her to snap a picture of me and the Hair from Hell. You can also sort of see the new glasses, if you squint.

I had a few ensembles I wanted pix of (such as the leopard print dress), but they'll have to wait until the light is better.

Yeah, you're going to want to grow that haircut out for sure, or find someone to soften the edges of the bangs when they grow out some. Otherwise, the glasses are fab and you are looking so cute! Way to go with the weight loss, babe!

Thanks, sweetie! I'm thinking some color would be a good thing. I've grown it out, it's been untouched for about a year now, and I'm just SO bored with it. I'm originally a blonde (when dishwater in my 20s and it's just kept getting darker, except for a few silvers), and since my mama was a redhead, I can pull that off, too.

This top makes me happy; it's from Target, and I've "always" been a four in their plus sizes, but this one's a three. I was so stoked when I found that out!

I considered that you were being overly dramatic about your haircut, just because it was so much shorter, but... that is not a good haircut. Thank goodness hair grows back. Don't go back to that joint, though.

I like the stylist, but no, I won't be going back. I'm going to have to take extra pains with my grooming while this crop grows out, otherwise people are going to be calling me, "Sir". (I *do* have a deep voice.)

If it's layered at all, you could part it on one side and use some gel to give it some lift.
Try pushing the sides back behind your ears, too. Just play with it since you said you have natural body~ get some gel or mousse and work with it.
Hopefully, it will grow fast.

It usually grows like weeds in summer. I'm mostly concerned with how it's going to look at my reunion.

If I use demi-perm coloring, the silver threads out to give the effect of highlights.

Highlights would be cute, too.

First of all, LOOK AT HOW THIN YOUR FACE/NECK ARE!! Good on you with the weight loss -- stay focused! *hugs*

The hair? Um.... Yeah. Okay, not the best cut I've ever seen. A different color would help a lot. Also, any chance you could, I dunno, maybe use some product and spike or scrunch it? You know, add some piecey texture? I think you'd look great like that. :-)
