Better than I ever hoped!

My car is being kept overnight and getting TWO new front tires, a front-end alignment and an oil change!!!

I'm absolutely blown away. I would've been quite happy just to get the tire replaced. The rest is gravy and biscuits. Wow.

I have a lot to be thankful for, and I am---very!

Heh heh. Yeah, PJ said something of the sort...the mechanic probably mentioned having to hunt for the spare under a mass of cans. Hopefully we'll have decent weather Saturday and I can get that done then!

It's running. I can't really detect any difference, and after a few days of driving AI's car, I'm thinking I really need a brake job.
