I was given a delightful gift a little while ago---adventurat made me a special icon by request. I gave her the pix, she figured out how to link them---she's a genius!



The idea came to me as I was drifting off to sleep the other night, and I tracked down suitable snaps for it. (It's that one-track mind thing again....) Two obsessions and one bad pun---does it get any better than that---?!

And in other nifty news, in 24 hours, I'll be at a midnight showing of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Robyn e-mailed me this evening---she won a pair of tickets from a radio station and invited me to go with her. I'm so thrilled!

It came as a big surprise to me when my friend got ahold of me. She's someone I know from church, and not someone I hang out with a great deal usually, so I was really delighted that she thought of me. Otherwise, I'd be waiting for the opening matinee, same as everyone else....

also... ICON LOVE! when I saw it this morning obviously my firewall was on and it was just the desert. Which wasn't nearly as interesting :D It rocks!
