SPN 6.07 -- Family Matters

I'm still not *loving* this season. A couple eps were okay, IMO, especially "Weekend at Bobby's"--- but on the whole, I've been disappointed.

As far as last night goes, all I'm going to say is, I LOVE BEING RIGHT! I predicted that particular plot twist a month ago.

I'd never been comfortable with Granddaddy either. And there's a delicious irony in that Christian had been demon-possessed all this time. :D

What little bit we saw of Cas last night was great, especially his line about "your Chrysler building." And I'm so glad Crowley's still around, since Mark Sheppard is a kick-ass actor and makes the old scoundrel endlessly fascinating.

I *do* like Mark Sheppard...I'm just dubious about the "I'm a developer and I want to score Purgatory" angle. Or maybe it's that his storyline is kicking ass and taking names and Bobby's stuck being comic relief ala pedicures and Tori Spelling. (Although I *did* have him pegged as a fan of daytime TV back in "More Interesting Than Armageddon".)

Mitch Pileggi is sure getting plenty of work. Between SPN and Sons of Anarchy, he's probably getting as much screen time as he did on X-Files.
