Question du jour

What do you want to invent?

Chocolate-favored toothpaste. Maybe white chocolate, too, while I'm at it. Because I don't like mint OR cinnamon and what something that will make dental care ppleasant and painless.

I'd buy that! Not a fan of most TP flavors

Yeah. Either they're so strong they burn, or they taste like ass. (Baking soda, I'm looking at you....)

Did you know you can get bacon-flavored toothpaste? :D

My favorite non-minty stuff is an orange-mango one made by Tom's of Maine for children. Tom's also has strawberry, but citrus flavors are my favorite.

Oooh, orange mango sounds fabu! Must see if I can track some down.

Bacon, on the other hand...I've always said bacon makes everything better, but toothpaste?! I dunno....

Most big drugstore chains carry Tom's stuff, so it shouldn't be too hard. Corgikid had a lot of sensory issues when he was little and couldn't stand mint toothpaste -- it actually made him gag -- so we used Tom's. He finally outgrew some of that and can use plain old Colgate paste now.

I didn't like to brush as a kid, because mint toothpaste hurt my mouth. Consequently, I never developed proper dental habits, and my teeth today are awful.

I'll definitely look around for Tom's, though!

Why HAVEN'T they made chocolate flavored toothpaste yet, for cryin' out loud? For that matter, why do I still have my coffee-scented perfume?!?

Speaking of caffein, can you make that chocolate toothpaste okay to swallow and add some extra caffein to it? Two birds, one stone.

It woulddefinitely invigorate one's gums!

From my days in the SCA, I know that you can make liquers by adding things to vodka. For coffee perfume, I imagine soaking some beans in rubbing alcohol for a week, or maybe just regular coffee, but putting the filter to use straining particles from the "cologne". Might add a cinnamon stick while it's soaking, or a dash of vanilla....

I bought one at the Co-op called Jason Sea Fresh~ it has wonderful ingredients and very little flavor. Does have fluoride. It's sort of pricey but it's a giant tube and will last a good long time.

Next time I'm in thevacinity, I'll check it out. I'm pretty sure Sunseed carries Tom's products, too....

Sunseed has more brands of toothpaste than Carter's has liver pills!
