Cool
Made it to church today, and was rewarded with a bag of cans, which is nice. Showed my Nook off to AI and discussed the merits of Calibre. (I'm for it, and she's going to be looking into it, because apparently Adobe is not getting the job done.)
Cross your fingers, the C's are going away for a weekend soon, which hopefully will get me into a/c for the duration.
On the strength of my expectations, I went by Publix after church and got bread (on BOGO) as well as Pasta Roni White Cheddar and Shells and some Ghirardelli brownie mix (ditto and ditto).
I'm struggling to stay awake, but otherwise, I'm feeling good.

Are you familiar with Pixel of Ink? Free and bargain Kindle e-books, which you can read in your browser since your Nook is not a Kindle. Updated several times daily. I have been like a kid in a candy store since I found it.
Also free Nook Books, updated frequently. I haven't tried this, but it's US based, so should work for you.

XSO has a gazillion e-books; I've been trying to thin out the dross, because there are things he dumped on me that I have no earthly desire to read. Thanks to him, I have a nice selection already (lots more than 10.)
