vanillafluffy: (House -- Bend over)

Tonight marks the first time I've seen House in ages. I caught the first few eps of last season, bits and pieces of the Tritter arc, and nothing since.

I squee'd and flailed A LOT. I like the aggressive chick---nice to see a ballsy broad after Cameron!---especially the "I was never here!" detour. (You know Wilson's thinking, "This one's gonna be a handful!") Speaking of handfuls, I loved that priceless moment when Cuddy's stalking away and House and Wilson both tilt their heads and watch her ass in that khaki pencil skirt---not that I blame them. The best moment, though, was the "I love you" from House to Wilson. (Anybody know how to turn that into an icon? I'll trade 500 words of smut in any fandom I write.)

It was wonderful to see Chase again. (Damn, he's pretty!) I love the aplomb he shows when House confronts him: "If you want to vent, leave a message." And how willing he is to score against House by bootlegging lab work. Atta boy!

I've heard it alledged that Jennifer Morrison was a blonde who went brunette for the part, but I'm not convinced by her new look. Supposedly she and Jesse are being professional on-set---but I'm oh-so-curious about what really happened with them. One minute, they're the perfect engaged couple, the next, it's over? WTF?

And y'know, I thought when whatever-her-name-is left the room, that she hadn't gotten the PotW water for his pills, but at the time, I chalked it up to sloppy scene management on the writers' part. Instead, it was great sneakiness on their part. Kudos, youse guys!

It probably says something about my screwed up priorities that I'm more bummed about the dog dying than I am about the PotW....
