I seem to recall that GK is not much of a cook either. Best to just stay home and enjoy your own company.
We are going out of town for the holiday to see our SIL. The kid has volunteered to stay home and look after the dogs, so that will work out fine. I am never thrilled about four hours on the road, but it is what it is.
Do get on top of things to take care of your vision, hon. It's all a pain, but so worth it. (((Hugs)))
