Yeah, unlike John (who apparently you either love or hate), everybody seems to like Bobby. He's sort of...redneck zen. (Damn, I need to make an icon out of that!)

I particularly like the ones of Bobby in the library and how he doesn’t take his hat off inside the house (such a bachelor thing to do!). Someone needs to come up with the Supernatural version of “Clue”: Bobby, in the library, with holy water – heehee!

I keep mulling over the idea of The Supernatural Tarot deck..clearly, the Impala would be The Chariot, the YED would be The Devil...I suspect Bobby would be The Hermit. And instead of The Lovers, you'd have The Brothers....

I'm just the medium with the message, as Missouri might say. Bobby, on the other hand---seems like everyone loves Bobby! (Unlike John, who apparently you either love or you hate....)

Bobby is like Walter in lfn or Oz in Btvs or Joe in HL. They don't exactly arouse the most intense sexual passion (though I think most people would totally go for it just because we like them so damn much) but EVERYONE loves them. :) How can we not really? (Bobby, you own me. Whenever John lets the leash free. *giggle*)

John has that "bad boy" energy.... (I've always had a certain attraction to that, but I know not everyone does.) He's focused on his agenda, and if you're not with him, you're against him, scholarship or no scholarship. Bobby, on the other hand, is more everyman, but there's a core of experience and wisdom to him. John may have experience---in more ways than one---but he's even admitted that he's not really wise, that he's just muddled through doing the best he could. Bobby presents a gruff, pragmatic exterior, but he also consistantly demonstrates loyalty, compassion and common sense. I think he's more reconciled to his path...I'd love to see backstory for Bobby next season, although it's sure to Joss everything I've come up with! John, though---paradoxically, as much as he regrets having dragged the boys into the life he's led all these years, I believe if he hadn't had to survive for them, that he wouldn't've lasted as long. Bobby is more self-contained, and again, I'm oh-so-curious as to Kripke's version of his background....

Oh, I like that take on stuff. Though I don't know if I can go with the bad boy thing for John. Rather the tough boy. That's what I like best I think, the drill sergeant no bullshit kind of part about him. Ye gods, I'm scarred for life.

Okay, I can see that, too. I've gone for that type as well---Robert Mitchum is a HUGE favorite of mine---although Bobby has a pretty good built-in bullshit-o-meter. He's just not as hard-nosed about it.

And Robert Mitchum...I really like him too. Though I'm mostly a sucker for Paul Newman and Gregory Peck. *drool*
