I named 47 US states in 10 minutes How many US states can you name in 10 minutes?

I had a brain-fart and "lost" three states ) 10 minutes, and I spent the last three going, WTF am I missing?! Clearly, the mid-west is not my forte!

Got a very happy surprise from [livejournal.com profile] pwcorgigirl--- Jools fic! (Hot Jools fic, with a side of Tessa, yay!)

Have also encouraged a few more posters to share their stories with [livejournal.com profile] singer_salvage, which is up to 136 members. Wahoo!

Haven't lost my voice yet---although I came close on the way to work. To the bozo in the great big honking truck whose concept of "right of way" leaves A LOT to be desired, it's a damn good thing you crossed three lanes of traffic and hung a left after cutting in front of me on US 1 at Aurora---because if you'd been ahead of me in line when I got stuck at the light at Eau Gallie, I would've done a Chinese fire drill, come up there and smacked you upside the head. Idjit.

I'm not going to discuss work. I'll only start swearing. Tis the season.

Title: The Hills of Home
Authored by: [livejournal.com profile] vanillafluffy
Pairing: Bobby/OFC
Rating/Work-safeness: PG-13
Approximate word count: 1800
Disclaimer: I don't own Bobby Singer, but I wish I could get him to take a look at my car.
Summary: At some point, Kripke may show us his version of Bobby's backstory, but meanwhile, here's mine. Beta graciously provided by [livejournal.com profile] pwcorgigirl, whose input was invaluable.

She feared for him, helling through the hills in that big black Chevy he'd bought with his combat pay.... )

Feedback is shiny.

Title: Fresh Produce
Authored by: vanillafluffy
Pairing: Inky/Ragnar (implied), Bobby
Rating/Work-safeness: PG for the birds and the bees
Approximate word count: 1200
Disclaimer: I own only the neurons and electrons I composed it with
Summary: Companion piece to It Happened One Night. Bobby wonders why things keep disappearing around his house. The latest thing is a bagful of green peppers.

Inky begins whining and howling, and Bobby wonders if she's being attacked by coyotes as he races out of the house. )

Title: The Ghost of a Junkyard Dog
Authored by: [livejournal.com profile] vanillafluffy
Pairing: A man and a dog---but not THAT way
Rating/Work-safeness: No problem
Approximate word count: 5100
Disclaimer: All rights belong to Kripke
Summary: I originally intended this as a Halloween post, but couldn't get it together in time. This is set early S2, after ELaC. It could be considered spoilery for Devil's Trap and IMtoD.
It's the story of Bobby's Chevelle (the car he's driving in Magnificent Seven, the one with the devil's trap painted on the trunk lid), and what happens when Bobby thinks he's being haunted by Rumsfeld's ghost.

Something a couple rows over makes a noise, and Bobby cusses himself for leaving his shotgun at the house. He draws his Bowie knife from its boot sheath and goes to investigate. )

I'm about to go work retail on Black Friday. Feedback would be all kinds of awesome.

Somebody had to do it...so I did. I've created a community for SPN fans with a fondness for Bobby Singer. Feel free to drop by [livejournal.com profile] singer_salvage and say hi.
