Today was relatively sane. The highlight was a call I got from an insurance rep (Wait, it gets better, honest!) wanting to know if I could fax him a claim form. Usually it takes several takes to get a claim form, but one of my coworkers had already requested one, and from the state of the notes, she was waiting for documentation to accompany it. I told him that, and he said no, all he needed was the claim form. It turned out that said coworker had the claim at her desk. I got it and faxed it to him within minutes.
Ordinarily, I view your average insurance rep as being on a par with toads (which is still higher than attorneys--they're lower than pond scum), but this guy--rrrow! I swear, he sounded like Antonio Banderas, and he was flirting with me. I was purring kittenishly, thanks, and I got his phone number and extension. Never mind that it's some rinky-dink insurance company I never heard of before. The next time I get a claim from them, I'm calling him whether I have a problem or not!
I know, not exactly an earth-shaking life. Tomorrow, I get to go to a girls' nite out spa party and I probably won't be back til Friday (I'm taking clothes for work Friday and staying the night.) This weekend is a bead and gem show--be afraid--!
