Still more to do this Monday

Today was chaos, yet I moved through it with serenity. My hormones must've been balanced properly; otherwise the sheer frenzy of back-to-back callers would have set me off.

It wasn't just OUR calls, either--the powers-that-be have done it again: the office in (Another State) is getting the Software from Hell installed, and training on same, so guess who gets to take their calls? (If You People keep it up, I'm going to put the 'cuss' in customer service...)

Fortunately, there weren't a lot of total thickshits (Handy new cussword gacked from...er, somebody online...I'm *bad* with names!) calling--just one, and I learned a long time ago that they can threaten all they want to--if Mr. Bozo is in collections, Mr. Bozo needs to suck it up and deal with collections. I've never yet seen one sue us, although they love to promise they will, and we've never had the Problem-Solvers from TV show up on our doorstep to denounce us (I hear that one regularly, too.). This particular fool claims he never got a statement from us. Right. Somehow, they never do...one letter threatening their almighty credit, though, and all of a sudden everybody's an outraged virgin.

I even had ideas about my Equilibrium story, and I don't usually have creative thoughts during a day like this. How much of it gets written remains to be seen....
