Technical difficulties

FF.net isn't letting me log in, which is freaking me out. I can get into the site on a read-only basis, but can't access my documents or stats.... I *need* to get the first installment of "Underlying Causes" posted today! (Because I'm posting a chapter a day between now and Father's Day, that's why.)

Nothing else is messed up--LJ is fine, Yahoo is a-okay--it's just them. Why the hell does this always seem to happen when I have something that's time-specific?!

OMGWTFBBQ--!

I finally got the first chappie of "Underlying Causes" posted after lunch, and OMGWTFBBQ! Less than twelve hours and it's already gone bolting up the hit list. Only one review, but over 100 hits---in less than 12 hours! It has 3 alerts on it already, all from new readers. And it's attracting more readers to "Scrubbing In"...and probably other things, if I were keeping close track.

I'll post it in one fell swoop on housefic once I have the whole thing up on FF.net. (Since LJ doesn't have hit counters and I haven't the patience to string it out times two....)
