A Grand Day Out

Iryne and I rendezvoused with Marina at the BodyMindSpirit Expo, which was a bit of a disappointment for me. There were fewer vendors than there were last year, although one of the new ones had costuming for belly dancing that was just to die for! I was lusting after a couple of fantastic beaded shawls she had--OMG, if I had money! Marina was also interested. The three of us each got jingly wraps, although because of my size, I'm more likely to wear mine as a top wrap than a hip wrap.

Iryne got gold coins on a floral print with a black background. Marina's has silver coins on a violet-teal-blue watercolour print, while mine is solid dark brown with gold coins. I figured a solid color would go with more of my skirts, and brown flatters me more than black does. (And I'm tired of black.)

Iryne and Maddie have agreed to teach some classes on the art of the dance, which I'm looking forward to. Dates to be determined.....
