Magikal Math
Jul. 9th, 2006 10:37 pmMy thirty hours of "nannying" earned me enough money to get more phone time, AND to replace my recently deceased and much lamented microwave. (Haven't replaced it yet, but it's on tomorrow's "To Do" list.)
Ever notice how it's never just one thing that goes bad? Nope, same week my microwave died, the passenger side window in my car decided it wasn't going to obey anymore. At least it froze in the upright position, so I don't have to do pathetic and desperate things with plastic wrap to try to seal the window!
If you're of the superstitious bent that says these things come in threes, I will add to that the disintegration of my black taffeta skirt.
Now, two more GOOD things should happen....
