Reality rears its ugly head

Time to rein in the spending; somehow, the cash situation has gotten rather strapped. The last few weeks have melted away with slippery ease...I am NOT one of those dedicated people who HAS to work; if I won the lottery, I'd go into instant retirement. However, because of nasty mundane things like utility bills and property taxes, I'm forced to work.

Meaning that come Tuesday, I need to start going down to Job Link and on interviews. (Why not Monday, you ask? Because my bestest friend is coming down for a visit, and I'm going to the airport with her mum. That's why.)

On a lighter note, today I joined shagthebritish, and my intro post made me unusually popular. Apparently, lots of gals would like to meet Peter O'Toole. I was lucky enough to have done so back in 1986, and it cemented my adoration of that lovely, lovely Irishman.
