Other People's Computers, Day Eight

Okay, the light bill is paid and the cable bill is half-paid (buying me time, anyway), and once I get paid for the job I almost had, that and what's left should take care of my water bill, and both kinds of insurance (car & home). Whew!

I have my fingers tightly crossed that one way or another, my computer will be fixed within the next couple of days---at this point, I don't care if R does it, or if the friends of a friend pulls it off, as long as I can get shit done in the privacy of my own house. Preferably while doing other things, like laundry.


Hopefully, I'll start getting calls next week as a result of all the resumes I dropped the other day. Which means I *definitely* need to do laundry to have suitable clothes for follow-up interviews....
