vanillafluffy: (all about fluff)
(Okay, technically it's Sunday, but my brain is still set for Saturday.)

Lost track of time while getting The Girl From Cassadaga ready to post at the Pit of Voles---caught sight of the clock and yelped. Levitated and got myself out the door asap, only to realize I didn't have my watch on, and while checking my mailbox, discovered a package from the adorable [livejournal.com profile] kukkurkurat, who sent lots of shininess---numerous leopard print goodies, several dragonfly goodies, a whole stack of pictures and clippings and a box of licorice-scented votive candles.... *sniffs and twitches with bliss* Kerttu, my sweet, you are too, too good to me!

So---after squeeing and getting side-tracked, I bolted for the second time, hit the road for Melbourne, and as I was stopped at the last traffic light before work, I caught sight of a lovingly restored chrome-yellow Chevy truck with stepside bed, circa 1978. Being side-tracked turned out to be perfect timing in action.... *happy sigh* I am such a car slut!

Was right on time for work, and had an excellant day. The call volume was fairly steady, but most of the callers had some kind of clue. I had A LOT of sales, including a $3900 sale for PoshBrits (The names have been changed to protect the greedy guilty.) that made me chortle with glee. Two other calls were fun in addition to being good for my sales totals: one was a gal from my hometown (just a few blocks from where I grew up---she says it's changed A LOT), and the other gal had had gastric bypass surgery and was buying new winter clothes from ButchBoots. (Again, an alias!) She's praying for me, because the surgery changed her life. She called for a jacket, and wound up with that, a hat, gloves and three pairs of cute socks. I'm really looking forward to seeing my stats next week!

I got home and checked my e-mail, and found a fabulous suprise waiting from [livejournal.com profile] pwcorgigirl---a House/Spooks crossover wherein Jools menaces House. It's here: http://pwcorgigirl.livejournal.com/57537.html and it's wonderful.

Today is my Friday. Yay, I'm ready for it---!

These. They're tan. 11WW. *flails* I don't *dare* order them right now---must pay bills, must pay bills!---I will cross my fingers that they're still available in two weeks.

And if they're gone, well, good golly Miss Molly, this site has so many kickass boots it's just unreal. I'd cheerfully settle for these:

Brown, Wide; they'd be divine with jeans. (And cheaper too...hmm....)
