Cars du jour:
A yellow Chevy SSR, but the vehicle that made me moan loudly was the original shark-nose GTO. This one was white, and made me think of the first one I ever saw, back when GTOs were brand-new cars, and my landlady's nephew, G, got one.

Even in those days, I was a fledgling RPManiac...G drove the car home, and I was THE first person who got to drive in it with him. Just around the block, as I recall, but wow. It was gold, with a black vinyl roof and black interior, and a few years later, he traded it in for an espresso brown Chevelle SS (with a 454 and a 4-bbl).

The renters two houses down from us had his and hers Mustangs ('65 and '67, I think), which were cool, and I got to ride in them a couple of times, but G's cars were cooler. G's brother D had a black...MoPar of some kind. (He lived out on Long Island, and wasn't around much.) I don't think it wasn't one of the major muscle cars like a Charger or a Challenger...a Satellite, maybe? (Yeah, like anyone's going to dispute it---!)
