Is it safe?

I managed to fix the tag light bulbs (and of course, encountered zero cops, not that I'm complaining!) this afternoon. They're some weird size, naturally, and the replacements I got are just slightly larger, but they light, so fuckitall, that's what matters.

My new MP3 player arrived today, and all I can say is, damn! 2 Gb fills up FAST. (It's a cute little bitch, though!)

I have a schedule through next week, and from what I've heard, HR is quietly asking the surviving seasonal people whether they want to stay. My mgr. said yesterday he'd get with me on Saturday, so I'm *hoping* that's part of what he's going to go over with me. I'm not great at sales, but I can turn on the charm and I'm very patient. (Believe it or not.)

One of the things that the mgrs do in the one-on-one talks is play back some of our taped calls---which I loathe. I'd rather stand naked in front of a full-length mirror! I blush at how kittenish I sound---okay, so it's a queen-sized saber-toothed tiger kitten, but still! Listening to myself purr at these twerps is just--- *hides under desk*

Okay, I'm ready for the weekend---!

Something pre-WWII: from the 20's, I think---dark blue and lovingly restored.
Scant seconds later, a light blue 60s El Camino.
Fifteen miles down the road, something yellow and wedge-shaped with a spoiler; I suspect Italian, or a replicar meant to *look* Italian.
