Somehow, despite the fact that I spent about a third of my work day in meetings (product training, benefits orientation and metrics with my manager), I still managed to top yesterday's sales figures handily, thanks in large part to a tasty order from Posh Brits. When I tell you that TWO items from them added up to the exact whole dollar value as all of yesterday's sales combined, that says something about how high-end they are....
I didn't manage to get out early...instead, after my shift was over, I parked my ass in front of one of the TVs in the breakroom and sat through the last half of Jericho, and all of Criminal Minds and CSI: New York...because what the hell, they've got those nice, big flat-screen TVs, and I may as well enjoy them. I set a timer for Jericho, so I can catch up on the first bit later, but I wanted to see it, and frankly, that's the most TV I've seen at a stretch in more than a month, not including the Oscars and the Super Bowl.
Tomorrow is the last day of product training with Fit-nazi**, but I'm on my regular schedule, so that's no big deal. Next Wednesday, we're doing training for Tasteful Woman, which ought to be fun. They're not quite in the same dollar bracket as Posh Brits, but they tend to get more items per order, and they're mostly gals in my age bracket (as near as I can tell).
Now I'm off to bed, partly because I'm tired, but mostly to listen to the CDs that arrived in today's mail---Janet Evanovich on "How I Write". This should be fun!

** And I'm going to wear my SportsShoe tee...today, since I had the benefits orientation, I wanted to wear something a trifle less disreputable---orange tunic, checked-weave blue jeans and my pop-cap belt. If the pop-cap belt intrigues you---I get enthusiastic comments every time I wear it---check out www.littlearth.com---they make cool stuff out of recycled parts; they have more belts like that, and a lot more!
