More adventures in Telephoneland
Mar. 16th, 2007 01:00 amTomorrow we have still MORE product training, this time from Le Snobbi Bags. Word has filtered through that Le Snobbi has been purchased as a corporate entity by Tasteful Woman, so it looks like they'll be staying in-house. Maybe that will make them easier to deal with, since Le Snobbi as they are now are a pain in the ass. We're discouraged from refering callers to their corporate people; we have one individual in our division who liases with them for problems. Which is bloody useless when she's gone and some pissy bitch is snipping about some detail that we're not prepared to deal with and she doesn't want to wait. Not to mention, whoever designed their website should be slapped, repeatedly. Item numbers, people---is that too much to ask for?! Not some lame names with idiocyncratic spelling---style numbers, product numbers---I don't care what you call them, just give me a freaking number!
Today was Partner Day. We were asked in advance to wear articles from our various companies. Rummaging through my closet, I came up with a blue and white striped Tasteful Woman shirt (secondhand from I-don't-remember-where, since I've had it for a couple years), worn with non-partner jeans, a pair of shoes from GeezerBritches (from Goodwill), a bag from Trendicrap, and just to push the envelope a bit, a cap that touts a non-apparel partner that's also handled through our call center. There are times when it all seems ludicrously like High School Spirit Week---and I always loathed that shit. I never took part in it in HS, and now, 30 years later, I am....**
That mega-order from yesterday is being researched by the Fraud Department. I am going to crawl under my desk and suck my thumb if they cancel that order, I swear....
