I checked my bank balance this afternoon and found out I had more money than I thought---not enough to solve the cable problem, alas, but enough that I CAN afford to fill up my gas tank and not have to worry about floating a check to get by. So that's good.

Also, the other day, I went in early because the weather looked a bit ominous, and got to Melb. early enough to consider stopping in at the Herb Corner (belonging to a couple of the gals who came to the Penczak workshops last weekend). It turned out that the store was closed when I got there---*eyeroll*---but as I was wondering whether it would be entirely save for me to go into the secondhand furniture place (NOT a good idea under the best of times!), I caught sight of a Sherwin-Williams store with the subtitle "Automotive Finishes" and that decided that. (Really, the Universe is flinging me in that direction, I swear!)

Educational. I'm definitely not going to attempt anything TOO elaborate on the Camaro. The specialty stuff is a three-coat process, and fucking expensive.
