Blessed Beltane, my darlings!

Alas, I haven't anyone to celebrate it with, and in a display of flawlessly ironic timing, my cycle has kicked in. (The joy of approaching cronehood...it doesn't show up for three or four mooncycles, and one *thinks* it's departed for good, then whammo! Things get messy. Joy.)

However, the jasmine vine on my porch is blooming and smells divine, the frogs are fat and happy, by the looks of them, and it's a pretty day out.

What a pity that I have to go to work, but how lovely that I have a job to go to that I like.

Yeah, I'm an optimist....

Plot bunnies should know their places! They should line up in orderly rows and await their turns to be written, instead of springing up onto one's desk and kickboxing one's head.

Damn it all, I did NOT need another sizable SPN bunny. I can see this story as the unreleased pilot (kinda like the first Star Trek pilot. Totally AU, goes back to the night of the fire with ONE difference that changes everything.

Of course, I'm also midway through the sequel to Son of a Gun. (The one with Dean's illegitimate son courtesy of too many purple nurples in Tall Tales.)

I've barely started on Known and Unknown, the Seen and Unseen follow-up.

And I don't even want to talk about Flying Towards Destiny, which has been languishing for months.

That doesn't begin to encompass the strays that are hopping around just out of sight---everything from crossovers and more Chase-Brenda bunnies to an AU take on Flight of the Phoenix or just borrowing a few minor characters from Jericho.

What to do, what to do---?!
