Just when I was starting to get discouraged about the Pit of Voles...

Just when I was starting to get discouraged about the Pit of Voles, something like this happens. I posted Just Add Fire last night before I went to bed, and I woke up to a bunch of reviews and hits like crazy. (More than I've had here, which is totally reversed from how it's been lately.) It's ABOVE the 1-review-per-100-readers curve, even allowing for feedback from friends who reply to everything.

Had a couple of crazy dreams...one where I was watching a show that turned out to be SNL and discovered that Johnny Depp was the host and I started frantically trying to find a tape so I could record the rest of it. In the other dream, I went back to the place where I used to work and into my old cubicle (the one they moved me out of at the Beginning of the End). I remembered my old password, and something was going on in the background---I don't know what, but it reminded me why I hated that job---and I remembered that I had a BETTER job that I actually mostly like, and laughed at them all on my way out the door.

My subconscious mind is labyrinthine...how those two things surfaced in juxtaposition I have no idea!
