Suck uppage at work

Tomorrow and Thursday, we've got product training with Brand X jeans/Geezer Britches. (I'll be in a Thursday session, I have Weds OFF, damnit!) The partner's rep actually came in today and hung out with the reps that were still there at 10 PM, including Yours Truly.

Being the shameless self-promoter than I am, I managed to introduce him to something he didn't know about his own company's website (Go me!), and further polished my halo by showing him a list I made up last week showing all the Brand X products they're currently offering in white (It's summer, white pants are suddenly in.). I *think* I managed to come across as enthusiastic and brand positive...although I *also* let him know that *their* idea of plus sizes aren't in MY size range.

Gee, I hope that wasn't another faux pas along the lines of asking for a Le Snobbi discount. (Still waiting for an announcement about their contest, btw. Y'all will hear about it, whichever way that goes!)

My earlier post, http://vanillafluffy.livejournal.com/199424.html got a huge response (Or should I say a Hugh-ge response? Probably not!) and a plethora of pix from the fabulous pwcorgigirl. Far be it from me to horde such treasures for myself!

There is a TON of non-House Hugh Laurie, including Jools Siviter, Bertie Wooster, and Ian from Flight of the Phoenix. When I groveled prettily, she also threw in some SPN pix, including the one that became the icon above.
