Summer is here
Jun. 25th, 2007 11:30 pmNot exactly a productive day off...I spend most of it in my bedroom, getting the benefit of the window a/c and nursing a heat rash. Ah, a mere three more months of summer ahead!
Tomorrow, it's Trendicrap again! That's three partners in three weeks, but at least Trendi isn't screwing up my schedule. (No, but I've been scheduled to work July 4th...I'm just going to keep reminding myself that it's going to bring in a bunch of holiday time.)
Found a very useful resource,http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/index.html?year=2007&country=1, a perpetual calendar which is a handy thing to have for writing scenes set in a non-contemporary time frame---hHey, I said most of the day, not ALL of it!
I *did* chip at a bit of Nature versus Nurture, a very AU SPN saga. I'm still working on the prologue, which, if it was filmed, would probably be the first fifteen minutes or so. It basically takes the events of November 2nd, 1983, drops them in a blender, and hits puree. I can't keep the evil grin from my face!
Not bad for a slow Monday!
