The heat is on

I went down to Code Enforcement this afternoon and signed the papers to avoid going to court. Then they'll send me a copy of the judgement, and I can contact them to make payment arrangements. Yay.

It's so infernally hot---and I mean that literally!---that I step outside of my a/c'ed bedroom and check to make sure the stove isn't turned on. No lie, it was 96F in here today. And it's still early July! I hate to think of what it's going to be like in another few weeks. I'm about to go shopping for my own hoochie clothes, although for me, that would translate to tanks and sleeveless---preferably cotton, because poly is just---NO.

Anyway, I have little to no energy...Florida in the summertime is unbearable without continuous a/c.
