The end is in sight

Apparently this peculiar machine prefers Surfari to Internet Explorer. Now it's appearing normally. Anyway, I've had a quiet day. Too hot to go for a walk on the beach---I remember making that mistake last summer and ending up with blistered feet. I went to the store for a few supplies, but that's all. I have the central air cranked to "frostbite", and it feels heavenly.

Did a little writing longhand, but it's very difficult to write here. Trying to do anything on this computer is a pain; I've encountered enough incompatibilities that I'm wary. All I need to do is write ten pages and end up with some freaky cross-platform error that turns it all to trash. And it's too bad...I've been visited by a hormonal condition that makes writing some evil pr0n sound pretty good.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope that my commute tomorrow (via A1A instead of US1) isn't too arduous. But, on the bright side, I then get to go home, and since I have Sat/Sun/Mon off by prior request, it's just tomorrow and Friday to get through.
