WIPs, etc.

The nice thing about this W@H gig is, I can cuss 'em out on mute or between calls and no one's going to complain about my "unprofessional" behavior. Yay.

I have two WIPs I'm chiping away on for mini_nanowrimo, the Bobby fic (The end is in sight! I might actually be able to finish the rough draft tomorrow!), and a Jericho fic that I started months ago, like May or June. I don't want to say NO to that one, since it's probably going to be under 2500 words when all's said and done---currently around 1100. The Bobby fic is currrently around 3000 words, and probably has less than 1000 left to go.

Tomorrow, Kat is getting her shoulder operated on, and I'm elected to pick her up afterward. (BC is going to drop her off, and she'll be in a sling after, and since it's my day off....)

I have bratwurst and sauerkraut...now all I have to do is ferret out my medium-sized crockpot and I've got dinner tomorrow. And another nice thing is, if I get killer gas from the cabbage, it won't affect anyone but me.

I also need to sit my ass down and work on my talk for Sunday. Way back in August, I decided to stand up and discuss something I actually know about: placing online orders. I know, it's a peculiar subject for a talk at church, but we get a broad cross-section of topics, and there will be that many fewer people to screw up this holiday season....

I don't have enough energy for any TV squee. Maybe later.
