I've made more progress in the office---vast tracts of floor space have appeared, the result of relocating several useless pieces of electronics to the garage. (Useless to me, anyway. I'm hoping to freecycle.) I have two full white kitchen garage bags full of cans, and a partial of the cans that were hiding behind things that are gone.

And now to work, because it's Mandatory Overtime.

I was ready to throw a tantrum with my last caller of the day, an individual who didn't seem to understand the idea of research. He ordered three identical items from Pelts Leathermore last month. He got one of the correct items, and two similar but incorrect items. We reshipped him the same incorrect items. This indicates a real problem in the warehouse, and we cannot "just send the right stuff". It has do be looked into, and while we regret the inconvenience, I strongly suspect that the warehouse, which is in full-on holiday panic right now, is NOT going to come to a screeching halt to sit there and sort through all the brown widgets in that particular category and pick out two just for him.

Aside from that, the boxes of books are growing---I need to get with Kat and see if I can beg the use of her van to haul all this shit off, because it's gonna take about three trips in mine just for the freaking books, never mind the cans. I'm finding an amazing number of books that I'd forgotten I owned (but recalled in vivid detail as soon as I glanced at the jacket). It's going to be a really neat library, once I get it all pulled together.
