Well, THAT woke me up

I was about to head up to bed. Something moved---small and gray and four-footed. Two dogs---one part terrier!---and a cat!---and they all just sniffed at it. I had to grab the trash bucket from the loo and catch and release the mouse outside of the back door.

I hope the blasted cat isn't out there re-catching the damned thing.
