T-minus...

Right now, I'm in countdown mode---tomorrow I'm off/get paid/spend time with GK, Saturday I only work a few hours, Sunday afternoon the C's will be home. I need to start hauling things home, because it's amazing how much stuff I've accumulated---clothes, books, toiletries---and I *think* that since it turns out GK is going to be doing family stuff on Saturday, I'm going to put my free time to use and clean out my car, since they have a nice FLAT driveway (as opposed to The Hill at my place).

Monday...probably a round of thrift stores with GK---although I'm not in need of any clothes. Or tchotchkes. But you never know, I might run across something fabulous for the boudoir. In any case, I'll be waking up in my own dear bed---I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to that! I know the place is a mess, but it's MY mess.

Now to start packing....

I'm ready for today to be over, just because there are so many other things I want to do.

My original fic for thingunwritten has passed the 1000 word mark.... I know how it ends, I just have to figure out how to get there from where I am now. I'm lucky I got a prompt that triggered ideas at once...it's a very playful story. I just wish I had the capacity to illustrate it, because I'm seeing it in my mind as a series of pictures like a children's story book.

I brought most of my clothes home this morning, although there's still a fair amount to transport. And again, I have to remind myself that today isn't Friday....

Just got off the phone with GK, have agreed to rendezvous at my place tomorrow at 10 AM for approximately 3 hours of concentrated cleaning and organizing. She wanted to know what I needed, told her direction---I HAVE a big picture end result in mind, but I need guidance to get there. As it is, I look around, get overwhelmed and wibble.

So tomorrow looks good. Hooray!
