I was up til 5 AM this morning, possibly from the Excedrin I needed around 7. Defragged my hard drive, ran spyware probes, that kind of thing. Did some jewelry repair---I got a necklace a few weeks ago (before I realized how behind the 8-ball I was financially)---cheap, because the seller had it listed as pewter. As soon as it slithered out of its packing material, I knew it was silver---I've had enough over the years that I can tell!---it was just a bit too short for comfort. (I CANNOT wear chokers. They're a trigger.)

Thankfully, I just so happen to have a length silver chain of the same gauge from something H.W.S.N.B.N. gave me. (I've already repurposed the clasp.) I spent ten minutes fiddling with pliers and jumprings, and now I can wear it, go me.

And go me in another sense of the word, since I need to get over to the recyclers---they close at noon on Saturdays!

The cans, they are recycled. FIVE bags, because I had a partial bag in the house, in addition to the four that were waiting in the garage. They yielded another 18.5 pounds, bringing the total up to 79+ pounds. (And of course, I found three more loose cans under the junk in the front seat, which I cleared out. I think they multiply while I'm not looking.) I'm glad they're gone, and also pleased with the $12.95 they brought me! Like I said to the guy who cashed me out, that's almost 3 gallons of gas!

I'm fresh from the shower, mulling what to wear to dye eggs in---I think tie-dye!---feeling a nice sense of accomplishment and anticipation. I hope you all are having a good weekend, too!
