St. Patrick's Day

So far, the weekend has been enjoyable...still haven't tossed the brisket into the slow cooker, but everything else, yes. Recycled the cans, colored some eggs, played cards til 3 AM (and still made it to church for Book Sunday), all's well.

J is going to help me sell the Le Snobbi bag on eBay, which I don't want to do, but I have two weeks from today to get enough cash for my property taxes, so eBay it is. *sigh* Fortunately, I have a suitable enticement---she wants to borrow my boxed set of Jeeves and Wooster, and I'm okay with that.

The weather has been gorgeous except for a minor cloudburst Friday evening, low 70s, sunny, the best Florida has to offer. (But give it six weeks---it'll be roasting---no, preheating, August is roasting!)

Now I need to get off my rump and go do laundry and start the corned beast....
