Hats off

Yesterday, I spent about five hours, ass on couch, working on a hatband. I have a two-tone raffia cowboy hat, blue on blue, and I put together a band of various white buttons to replace the dinky little string braid it came with.

Criminal Minds repeated the ep with Fred Lehne (a/k/a Azaezel), which made me very happy. (Yeah, that's about the 5th time I've seen it. So?) I suspect we're in for some Reid angst in the near future, since they alluded to the ending of this ep last week. I'm just hoping they bring back Michael Ironside's character---that would be fierce!

Had some weird dreams this morning, including one where I knew I was dreaming and told myself that there WOULD be money in my purse because it was a dream, even if there wasn't any cash in there in real life. There was something about buying a cauldron from some hippie guy who lived across the street from Kat (it wasn't any house she has ever lived in), and being given a great pair of blue jeans, like wide-leg sailor pants with button detailing and an elastic waist, and some silver earrings.

Fresh SPN tonight, yay! And I've taken an hour and a half of vacation time in the middle of my shift so I'll have time to wrap up any call I may happen to be on beforehand and a little squee time afterward. Damn, it's been a long couple of months!
