Lively times

The last couple of days have made for a lot of yummy email. Two new stories---very different stories!---both well-received...zero progress on El Crossover Grande, tho'.

Meanwhile, I suffered a brain-fart and completely forgot about tonight's CUUPs meeting.

As Mondays went, it didn't suck. Lunched with Kat and paid her back, went to the bank and got cash to fill my tank with: $51, and it was on fumes when I started.

I was turning into the subdivision when it started spattering rain, which grew into a nice little downpour. It lasted about a half-hour, and was the first time I can recall in the last couple months where we had enough rain here to actually run off the roof.

Paid the GFS for the month. Heard from Red and missybrat---they've both just moved. Best wishes, gals!

Thankfully, this is going to be a short week; I'm off Saturday. Jane Austen book club at noon, and I still haven't read the bloody thing.

As I was looking something up at IMDb, I noticed that they're showing September 4th as the air date of Supernatural, Season 4, episode 1. I promptly logged in to the scheduling program for work and reserved vacation time from 8:45 to 10:15 (because that allows me time to get rid of any caller I happen to have and still get to the break room and get comfortable. And some squee time afterward. Go, me!
