Jul. 6th, 2008 01:00 amMy back-up system was fubar today, as in, wouldn't let me sign in. In-Charge put in a work ticket to IT, who won't be in until Monday. (Of course this has to happen the ONE time I volunteer to work Sunday!) So I'm stuck calling the help desk for minor shit, like looking up an order by phone number...WHY can't these asshats just have their freaking order numbers? Or better yet, wait til Monday?! It's Saturday, it's a holiday weekend, just chill, will you? Aaaargh!
I scribbled some more on Gone Hunting...I've got about 20 pages worth of handwritten notes that I haven't transcribed...GOD, will you PLEASE get these assholes to let me stay home to work? I'm over this commuting shit and tired of wasting time when I could be writing direct to electronica. It's very discouraging to have to write it out, then find time to input it.
On the bright side, I didn't see anyone in management at all today. No ambushes by Uber-Boss. No repetitive lectures from He-Boss. No shoes from She-Boss...okay, well, two out of three ain't bad, as Meatloaf would say.
