Last night, the big challenge was UPS, which has been playing dumb about a shipload of OVERNIGHT delivery packages that went out Tuesday afternoon and still weren't there Friday. One beeyotch in particular was a handful that I ended up transfering to Help Desk---we credited back her shipping, reshipped her order (which ordinarily we wouldn't do before the 10th business day) and what happens? Our friends at UPS reschedule the delivery for Monday. She was PISSED.

In happy news, the two high-dollar orders I took on Thursday actually went through. Both of them had previously been cancelled by our order review department because they thought there was something hinky going on...I have a pretty good success rate for replacing failed orders, and I'm really happy about these two, since together they add almost $1200 to my sales numbers this week!

In even happier news, I filled my gas tank last night---it was down to a quarter of a tank and trying to stall out at idle---for $23. Considering the last few months it's been nearly double that, and that as recently as September I was *thrilled* to find gas at $3.16, I'm downright rapturous pumping it at $2.08.

=============

Note to self, do not get Pepsi Max instead of regular Diet Pepsi. (I was turbo-charged until 5 AM and didn't sleep nearly as long as I should have.)
