Upcoming events (and lack thereof)

missybrat. She took pix, which she's going to email me, and we schmoozed about her upcoming birthday plans. Since she's making a long weekend of it, I gave her her card while she was here. I snagged it a few weeks ago, which makes me feel quasi-organized for once in my life!
The garage sale with S is off---I called her, and her response was, "Oh, is THAT what I wrote down?" *sigh* I feel bad in the sense that her memory is Swiss cheese, but hey, that was NOT why I took that Friday off! And unless our payroll company is really fucked up and inefficient, my direct deposit should be in the bank, eliminating the need to jaunt down to Melbourne. Ergo, I can romp in to a matinee and have the rest of the afternoon and evening for hedonism.
Okay, maybe not. Hedonism tends to be expensive, and my budget runs to a movie with a side of M&Ms, and that's about it. But oh, how I'm looking forward to it! What am I going to wear? These days, my wardrobe is sadly lacking in neo-retro-futurist garb....
