At last and at length

It's taken me a little over three weeks, but yesterday evening, I FINALLY completed the story cream_fudge requested as a reward for making my "One call too many" icon. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then she's getting full value per frame: It's ended up in the neighborhood of 6100 words---probably more than either of us had in mind, but it ran away with me.

Right now, it's being vetted by jdsgirlbev, who was quite enthusiastic after her initial read-thru. I can't imagine why---6100 words of John and Wee!chesters? Not her cup of tea at all, wink, wink....

Anyway, it'll probably be posted tonight or tomorrow, so if you're interested, watch this space.
