I just finished tackling the landfill that was my sink...no kudos---I should NEVER have let it get to that point. Honestly---I've been eating off paper plates and rinsing off the same knife-fork-spoon for the last couple weeks. It was BAD, y'all.
Now, I've got the flatware soaking in a bowl of soapy water, but the rest of my sink is clean. And thanks to a fresh pair of rubber gloves, my hands aren't pruning and I'm not beset by the feeling of "Ew, ew---germs!" that I would be otherwise. I read a chick-lit novel set in GB, where the heroine refers to yellow rubber gloves as "marigolds", which I think is SO cute. So now, any time I don gloves to scrub with, I'm putting on my marigolds.
Also changed two lightbulbs: The one in my bedside lamp, which burned out today, and the overhead light in the hallway, which has been dead for months. Apparently, the change in the weather has finally kicked in?!
"No Ordinary Family" will be on in a little bit; I'm going to grab a shower first...TTFN.
