Jul. 8th, 2011 10:11 pmI'm over at Mb's, enjoying a/c, dinner and the wider world of the web. After a while, we're going to WalMart. I took an afternoon nap, so I expect to be up til all hours.
Today's shuttle launch was disappointing. Very poor visability, though still better than the previous one which had zero. I saw the streak of orange for a few seconds before it disappeared into the clouds. Cried a lot. It's the end of an era that began about the time I graduated college. Now it's over, and I'm feeling more than a little over the hill myself.
Usually I spend Friday evenings with J, but we spent most of yesterday hanging out, so this is better. Mb cooks.
