Go, me!

I am usually not awake at this hour, much less feeling a sense of accomplishment. I was in bed EARLY last night. (For me, 1AM *is* early.) Woke around 7:30. Mind you, I don't know whether I'll be able to stay awake all day, but still---it's an improvement.

Points also for remembering that it is indeed Friday, and hauling a mess of trash down to the curb. One bag and an overflowing box from the kitchen, plus two bags from the spare room that were just sitting there.

The bags from the spare room (earmarked to be my library-office "someday") allowed me to get to a corner of the front window. Hmm...since I no longer have that bag of cement taking up room in my trunk, maybe I can start hauling surplus off to donate.

Weekend plans: Today, assorted running around---grocery store, hardware, ending up at J's, where she's going to introduce me to Lost. I didn't watch it while it was airing, but since I've starting fangirling Person of Interest, um, yeah. Ditto Alcatraz.

Tomorrow, supposedly lunching Mb for her (belated) birthday. It was yesterday, but she had other stuff going on. I say "supposedly" because she has something going on with her MIL in the morning, and when those two get together, it's hard prying them apart.

Church on Sunday, of course, and Supper Club in the evening.

I'll also be listening for the mail truck to come through and christen my new receptacle. I'm looking forward to a couple of packages: books, and a skirt that was a gamble. The seller didn't have the measurements listed, was out of town and couldn't get the measurements, and not all 3X are created equal. But she dropped the price to ridiculously low plus shipping, and I decided to risk it. She says it's stretchy. We'll see!
