Hello, I must be going---!

I've been up at Mb's the last few nights---she picked me up Sunday evening, and I've been basking in her a/c. Downside: Her wireless is OOO and although I could look at my emails, she refuses to let me access LJ on her computer because she's convinced it's the sole cause of some problems she's had. (I don't accept that, but whatever.)

Home for a little while, then out and about with J and back up to Mb's. Between the quiet neighborhood, the a/c and the home cooking, I'm willing to overlook the lack of wireless. (We had collards and chicken last night with buttery Italian bread. It was fabu.)

Compliments

Thought I'd mention a couple compliments I got in passing. On Monday, someone asked to see my ID, and said the picture didn't look like me. I replied that yes, I looked scary-bad in that pic. She said no, it looked like I'd lost a lot of weight sine it was taken. (It was issued in 2007, so yeah, about 60 pounds.)

Then today in Publix, a lady stopped and asked where I'd gotten my pants (basic, straight-legged yoga pants). Target, actually. She was quite a bit thinner than I, so it was particularly gratifying.
