Weekend review

Had a mostly nice weekend at Mb's. Took a bag of frozen chicken up there with me, marinated and roasted it. The marinade I used was some dressing I got from the food bank--pumpkin apple vinegrette, which actually worked very nicely with the chicken. (Also from the food bank.) So I was able to contribute a couple pieces to our dinner last night, and still have meals for the week---filling in with sides from my pantry.

Got my cable fix---caught up on this season of "Justified", and a few things I missed for whatever reasons. I do miss cable, but that's not in my budget for months....

Watched the Oscars---was surprisingly accurate as for as my picks went. Enjoyed the opening bit; It's nice to see Bill Shatner doesn't take himself too seriously, and the Sally Field/Flying Nun/Smokey and the Bandit homage was fracking priceless.

Didn't get much sleep at all before we went to the food bank, but I'm going to start work early so I can knock off early and catch a nap.
